Oh yeah. Out in the woods, camping out. Love it, yes. It was so fun to go down the trail and find a nice spot to camp. Sometimes I would know where I was going, especially during the Forest Service work days. But sometimes you are just out hiking a bit of trail and need a spot to stop. You know the rough place you want to end up on the map, but once you get there you have to find that right spot for your tent.
You look and look, and then inevitably you say "This works."
Then you begin to break out the perfectly packed house on your back.
Get your spread set up, get the fire going, get food, prepare to go "ahhh". Campfire, mmm.
I've never done any RV camping, but during coronavirus I ended up doing it for work. One night I saw the coolest thing. I am not much for lights around camp, but someone had a laser light of some sort that was beaming out small green dots all over the trees. I drifted out and took some pictures since it was a weeknight and the place was almost empty. They were on the edge of the campground and near a lot of pine trees. This picture was in Trap Pond State Park in Delaware. The photo really does not do it justice. It was not overly bright and made the area look really cool.
